Main Field – From £34/night
Are you ready to experience the ultimate camping and caravanning experience? Look no further than our Main Field, a scenic oval space which sits beside the picturesque River Wharfe and is available to pitch, park and glamp throughout the season.
A retreat for adventure seekers
Experience uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales landscape, including well known landmark, Simon’s Seat.
From the Main Field you’ll also find easy access to the River Wharfe which offers wild swimming, fly fishing, and is an excellent start point for various hiking routes – from easy strolls to big days out!
Space for all
In the main field, we offer four types of pitches, all with electric hook up, which vary in size. A standard pitch can accommodate any unit which measures under 6m in all directions. Any unit which is 6m or above requires a premium pitch. Every pitch has electric hook-up as standard.
A group effort
We cater to all types of campers, from families to hikers, cyclists, Duke of Edinburgh schemes, and educational groups. However, we do have a few rules to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment – we don’t allow stag or hen parties, groups of teenagers, or any young adults without a fully responsible parent or guardian present.
River Field – From £44/night
Our picturesque River Field is open for 28 days each year, including bank holidays and weekends during the summer months. Enjoy a minimum two-night stay on a regular weekend and a three-night stay on bank holiday weekends.
Summer bliss
In the summer months, the River Field is used exclusively for tents and small camper vans. For motorhomes, caravans, and long-wheel-based campers, we invite you to book the Main Field instead.
With the exception of the River Field Grass Serviced Jumbo + pitch, there are no designated pitches or electric hook-ups, allowing for a relaxed space where families can camp together with plenty of space to play.
A place to enjoy
Outside of the main summer period, the River Field transforms into a fantastic playground for campers. Unwind with a game of cricket, football, kite-flying, or rounders amidst stunning natural scenery.
The detail
Check-in starts at 1 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. For your convenience, early check-ins and late departures can be arranged based on availability. We welcome hikers, cyclists, and Duke of Edinburgh groups, but we do not permit stag or hen parties, or groups of unaccompanied teenagers.
